Wave Trek has been a family owned and operated
business since its inception in 1983. With a vision for new and
exciting
adventures, the Corson Family & Chris have
expanded the business extensively. Our new family team now embraces
the
new
millennium
with new and exciting goals. |

The Corson's took over ownership and management
of WaveTrek in early 2006. Bill and Karen have been active
in the outdoor recreation industry for many years and raised
their four kids in the outdoors. Now in their twenties, Blair,
Jared, and teenagers Jessica and Justin enjoy working (and playing!)
together in the outdoors; whether it's on the river or the ocean!
As experienced rafters, whitewater kayakers, sea kayakers, and
surfers they bring many years of on-water experience as well
as a great love and appreciation for watersports and outdoor
recreation. They hold certifications from the ACA in whitewater
rafting, whitewater kayaking, and sea kayaking as well as Swiftwater
Rescue (Rescue III) and medical training. The Corson's and their
dedicated team of instructors, guides, and support staff strongly
believe in providing safe and enjoyable outdoor experiences
to people of all ages. |

Chris Jonason started Wave Trek in 1983
with her then partner Steve Kolb who she later bought out
to become the sole owner. Starting with only one raft and
the drive to become one of the most successful companies
in the state, she has not only reached this goal but continually
strives to improve the quality of services offered to our
guests. Chris holds certifications as an Instructor Trainer
both in Whitewater Rescue and Kayak Instruction complimented
with 20 years of river guiding experience. |
